巴布亚盆地新生界层序地层格架与沉积体系

摘 要: 为了给巴布亚盆地新生界勘探提供理论依据,通过工区钻井测井的综合分析,结合地震资料,系统研究巴布亚盆地新生界层序地层格架与沉积体系,并研究其平面展布特征,总结盆地碎屑岩-碳酸盐岩的混合沉积模式。研究结果表明:巴布亚盆地新生界发育11个三级层序,其中古近系发育4个三级层序,新近系发育6个三级层序,第四系发育1个三级层序;在层序地层格架下,主要发育碳酸盐岩和三角洲2个大沉积体系;Mendi组礁灰岩(Esq2—Esq3层序)与上覆地层Darai组(Nsq1—Nsq3层序)形成局部储盖组合,Darai组(Nsq1—Nsq3层序)的生物礁灰岩与上覆的前三角洲的Orubadi组(Nsq4—Nsq6层序)泥岩为新生界最主要的储盖组合。

Sequence stratigraphy and sedimentary system of cainozoic in Papuan Basin

Abstract:In order to provide theoretical basis for Papua basin Cenozoic exploration, based on the comprehensive analysis of the work area drilling logging and combined with the 2D seismic data, the sequence stratigraphy and sedimentary system of Cainozoic in Papuan basin were systematically researched. And its plane distribution characteristics were studied, the hybrid sedimentary model of clastic rocks and carbonate rocks in basin were extracted. The results show that Papuan basin develops eleven 3rd-order sequences in Cenozoic, which contain four 3rd-order sequences in Palaeogene, six 3rd-order sequences in Neogene and one 3rd-order sequences in Quaternary. With the sequence stratigraphic framework, it develops the sedimentary systems of carbonate rocks and delta. The reef limestone of Mendi group (Esq2—Esq3 sequences) and the overlying strata Darai group (Nsq1—Nsq3 sequences) form local assemblages, the biological reef limestone of Darai group (Nsq1—Nsq3 sequences) and its overlying former delta Orubadi group (Nsq4—Nsq6 sequence) mudstone are the major reservoir-seal assemblages of Papuan basin in Cenozoic.
