Calculation of passenger train derailment course induced by overspeeds in curve

Abstract:In order to research passenger train derailment law induced by overspeeds in curve, the spatial vibration calculation model of the system between passenger train and curve track was established based on the spatial vibration calculation model of the system between train and track. According to the energy random analysis theory of train derailment, the derailment course calculation method of passenger train induced by overspeeds in curve was presented. The derailment processes calculation of the passenger train were achieved in different conditions of curve radius and elevation of curve, and the wheel-rail contact state and the relative position were analyzed. The results show that it is difficut to use the derailment coefficient and the wheel load reduction rate to determine whether the derailment occurs for the passenger train overspeeds in curve. The derailment vehicles are mainly located in the front of the formation when the passenger train derails induced by overspeeds in curve, and timely warning is necessary before the train derails. The train derailment speed and lateral relative displacement between bogie and rail increase with the increase of the curve radius and elevation of curve. Considering the safety factor of 1.25, the relative displacement between bogie and rail is 60.2 mm. The results can provide reference for the development of the passenger train derailment alarm device induced by overspeeds in curve.
